Detailed Job Description
As a Full Stack Developer supporting our client through Q-Soft in Qatar, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of end-to-end mobile and backend application development, API integration, database design, and release management. Your day-to-day responsibilities include building responsive cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android using Flutter, engineering scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI, integrating mobile clients with backend databases and third-party services, designing and optimizing database schemas, troubleshooting application and API bottlenecks across development and production environments, and collaborating closely with QA, DevOps, UI/UX, and product management squads. You will utilize your proactive troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills to resolve complex architectural anomalies under strict enterprise release schedules. Ensuring strict compliance with the 7+ years of software development experience requirement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-performance, responsive cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android using Flutter and Dart.
- Build, scale, and maintain robust backend services, microservices, and RESTful APIs utilizing Python and FastAPI.
- Integrate mobile client applications seamlessly with backend data stores, external APIs, and third-party cloud services.
- Design, implement, and optimize complex database schemas, efficient queries, and data storage solutions across SQL and NoSQL platforms.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application, network, and API issues across development, staging, and production environments.
- Support software testing cycles, automated test suites, production releases, and ongoing application maintenance.
- Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional QA engineering, DevOps, UI/UX design, and product management squads.
- Author meticulous software architecture documentation, API endpoint specifications, deployment runbooks, and code review logs.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive professional experience in software engineering, mobile development, and backend architecture (Mandatory).
- Strong, demonstrable hands-on expertise building cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android using Flutter and Dart (Mandatory).
- Deep practical proficiency in Python programming and building high-throughput APIs with FastAPI (Mandatory).
- Proven operational mastery of RESTful API architecture, JSON data serialization, and client-server communication protocols.
- Solid practical experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases, database indexing, and query tuning.
- Comprehensive experience with Git version control, unit testing frameworks, and agile software development life cycles.
- Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities under complex enterprise software conditions.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder abilities.
- Mandatory legal work eligibility and physical availability for full-time on-site operations in Qatar.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Hands-on familiarity with containerization and orchestration platforms including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience configuring automated CI/CD deployment pipelines and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
