Job Overview
KBC Technologies is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer specializing in Flutter and Python/FastAPI for a position based in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of software development experience and strong hands-on expertise in building cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android, developing backend services, and integrating APIs and databases.
The role requires a strong understanding of full-stack application development, software architecture, RESTful APIs, database management, testing, debugging, and production support. Candidates should be capable of developing reliable, scalable applications and resolving technical issues in production environments.
Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, microservices, Firebase, and application monitoring will be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.
- Build backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs connecting mobile applications, web applications, databases, and external services.
- Support application development for both iOS and Android platforms.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to support application functionality and data management.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in development and production environments.
- Perform unit testing and integration testing to improve application quality and reliability.
- Follow established software development lifecycle practices and version control standards.
- Contribute to application architecture, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Support production-grade applications and investigate technical issues when they arise.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of software development experience.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Flutter, Dart, Python, and FastAPI.
- Proven experience developing mobile applications for iOS and Android.
- Solid full‑stack development experience across mobile applications, backend services, APIs, databases, and web applications.
- Experience integrating applications with backend systems and third‑party services.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving production application issues.
- Experience working on large‑scale or production‑grade mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, application architecture, databases, and the software development lifecycle.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
