Fund Accounting Manager - Investment Firm in Miami
We’re working with a highly respected private investment and family office in Miami that is looking to add a Fund Accounting Manager to its team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a sophisticated investment environment and work closely with senior leadership across a diverse portfolio of investments. The role will have meaningful ownership over fund accounting, financial reporting, and day-to-day accounting operations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee fund accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of investment entities
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules
- Monitor investment activity and ensure transactions are accurately recorded
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers
- Support audits, tax processes, and other financial reporting requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior leadership as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, ideally within fund accounting, private equity, investment management, or a family office
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience with investment accounting and/or complex entity structures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
$115K-$150K dependent on experience
