Job Title: Garment Industry Full-Time Production Assistant
Full Time: M-F 8 am - 4:30 pm
Salary: Commensurate with experience

Job Description:
Great opportunity for the right candidate seeking a Garment Industry Production Assistant position. Fashion Merchandising or Fashion Design major preferred, but not required. The job duties will scale with candidate's experience & skills.

Preferred range of Responsibilities:
· Assist and support Production and Design team with a range of follow-up.
· Involvement and maintenance of private label programs.
· Create and execute content for social media.
· Monitor fabric inventory and write Fabric PO's.
· Order trims & notions for garment production.
· Review artwork/textile prints with design team and various art studios. (Fun!)
· Follow-up of purchased textile prints and strike-off approvals.
· Coordinate new samples with technical team/sample maker on a seasonal basis.
· Possible occasional business travel.
Technical Responsibilities:
· Help with CAD presentations for customers.
· Attend/assist with photoshoots with design team.
· Light photography work. Will train.
· Generate digital marker (Morgan Tecnica) if interested. Training will be provided.
· Assist with Production quality control.
· Help with production receiving and stocking garments.
Qualifications:
· Ability to speak & write in English.
· Fashion Merchandising or Design degree helpful, but not required.
· Skilled at managing social media content.
· Must be a team player, organized and quick learner.
· Operate with a sense of urgency and discipline.
· Ability to manage workload efficiently and meet deadlines.
· Self-motivated and willingness to handle a variety of tasks.
· Computer skills:
o Excel and Microsoft Word programs- basic knowledge required.
o Adobe Illustrator/ Photoshop- basic knowledge helpful, but not required.
Will train if interested.
· Basic knowledge of garment construction helpful.
· Knowledge of sewing helpful but not required.
· Ability to lift bolts of fabric on occasion (Approx. 20 lbs.)
