General Manager Store Management

Black & Grey HR is partnering with a leading Tier-1 contracting company in the UAE to recruit an experienced General Manager - Store Management to lead and oversee all warehouse and store operations for a premier construction organization. The ideal candidate will bring over 20 years of expertise in construction materials inventory management logistics warehousing and supply chain operations supported by a proven track record of leading large multi-location teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct end-to-end store and warehouse operations across project sites and central warehouses.
  
• Design and implement robust inventory control strategies to ensure optimal stock availability and accuracy.
  
• Oversee the full cycle of receiving storage issuance and distribution of construction materials tools equipment and consumables.
  
• Ensure strict adherence to company policies health safety and environmental (HSE) standards and internal audit requirements.
  
• Collaborate closely with Procurement Project Management Finance and Logistics teams to facilitate efficient material flow.
  
• Champion process improvements digitalization initiatives and industry best practices in store management.
  
• Lead mentor and develop store management personnel to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  
• Prepare budgets forecasts and comprehensive management reports for senior leadership review.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Engineering Business Administration or a related discipline.
  
• Minimum of 20 years of progressive experience in store management warehousing or supply chain operations within the construction sector.
  
• At least 810 years in a senior leadership capacity with demonstrated responsibility for managing large teams and multiple geographically dispersed locations.
  
• Exceptional leadership stakeholder engagement and strategic decision-making capabilities.
  
• Strong analytical planning and organizational skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
