Geriatric Medicine - Consultant / Specialist

We are sourcing for a Geriatric Physician to provide comprehensive, compassionate care for older adults. Keen to review suitable candidates for potential part time/ visiting CBD engagement.

Key responsibilities:

• Assess and manage older adults with complex medical conditions, frailty and multiple medications.
• Develop individualised care plans that support patients’ health, independence and quality of life.
• Coordinate care with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams, including rehabilitation and allied health services.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to patient safety and quality improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

• Medical degree and a recognised qualification in Geriatric Medicine, with recognised Geriatric Medicine subspecialty training
• Valid DHA licence or DHA registration/eligibility for the applicable Specialist or Consultant title.
• Relevant post qualification clinical experience of 7-10 years desired.
• Demonstrated experience in comprehensive geriatric assessment and the management of complex needs in older adults.
