Previous experience on Kahramaa projects in Qatar is mandatory.
Candidate certified by Siemens Energy, Berlin is mandatory
Minimum 10 years' experience in high-voltage substation projects.
At least 5 years' hands-on experience supervising GIS installation , ideally at 220 kV and/or 400 kV .
Proven experience with Siemens Energy GIS , preferably 8DQ1 and/or 8DN9 .
Valid Siemens Energy GIS installation certification or recognised OEM training is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of GIS assembly procedures, quality control, HSE and site coordination.
Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage.
Available for an assignment starting from March 2027
Duration up to 6 months.
Supervise the installation, erection and assembly of GIS equipment on site.
Ensure works are carried out in accordance with Siemens Energy procedures, approved drawings, method statements and HSE requirements.
Coordinate installation teams, subcontractors and site interfaces.
Monitor mechanical assembly, gas handling, compartment checks, torqueing, alignment and cleanliness requirements.
Review progress, identify technical issues and propose corrective actions.
Ensure installation records, checklists, punch lists and quality documentation are completed correctly.
Coordinate with commissioning teams to support handover and readiness for testing.
Liaise with the client, project management team and relevant local authorities when required.
