Government Relations Officer - UAE National Only

Location : Dubai, UAE

About the Role

We are looking for a Government Relations Officer who will be responsible for managing and coordinating government-related transactions for the company and ensuring all processes are completed accurately and within the required timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and follow up on government-related transactions and approvals.
• Liaise with relevant UAE government authorities and service centres.
• Handle employee visa, work permit, labour contract, renewal and cancellation processes.
• Manage Emirates ID, medical fitness and residency-related procedures.
• Assist with company license renewals, establishment card updates and other government registrations.
• Maintain accurate records of government documents, applications and expiry dates.
• Follow up on pending applications and ensure timely completion of transactions.
• Coordinate with HR and other departments regarding employee government-related requirements.
• Resolve issues and delays related to government transactions.
• Keep updated on changes in UAE government procedures and requirements.
• Ensure all government documentation is properly maintained and compliant with applicable requirements.

Requirements

• UAE National – Mandatory
• 4+ years of experience in Government Relations, PRO or a similar role in the UAE.
• Good knowledge of UAE government procedures and online portals.
• Experience dealing with government authorities and service centres.
• Strong knowledge of visa, labour, residency and employee-related government processes.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong follow-up and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good command of English.
