As a Head Chef specializing in Arabic cuisine, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations of our restaurant located in Ar-Ruwais. Your role will involve creating and developing menus, managing food costs and inventory, training and supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring the quality and consistency of all dishes served.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and design menus that showcase traditional Arabic dishes with a modern twist
• Ensure all dishes are prepared to high standards of taste, presentation, and quality
• Manage food costs by sourcing ingredients efficiently and minimizing waste
• Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain proper stock levels
• Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations during service hours
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times to meet health codes and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant setting specializing in Arabic cuisine
• Proficiency in English language is required; knowledge of Arabic language is preferred but not mandatory
• Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred
• Strong knowledge of Arabic ingredients, cooking techniques, and flavor profiles
• Ability to lead and inspire a team while maintaining a positive work environment
• Excellent time-management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Salary:

Starting salary for this position is $1200 per month with potential for increase based on performance.

Location:

This position is located in Ar-Ruwais, which is known for its beautiful beaches, desert landscapes, and traditional souks. It offers a unique cultural experience with its rich history, delicious cuisine, and welcoming community. Although proficiency in Arabic language is not mandatory for this position, it would be beneficial for immersing yourself in the local culture.
