Job Summary

The job holder shall be responsible for providing on-site technical support and responding to technical inquiries, serving as the first point of contact for users within the ministry. They will contribute to the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of hardware and software to ensure the smooth and secure operation of computers and other technical infrastructure components in accordance with established standards.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Preparing studies on availability, reliability, technical requirements and identifying the bodies that set standards for internal and external networks.
2. Preparing specifications, standards and specifications for operating and storage systems devices in line with the institutional structure.
3. Maintaining the main servers and providing them with internationally licensed software, including operating systems and application programs.
4. Implementing electronic connectivity for the various administrative units in the ministry to facilitate internal and external communication.
5. Designing internal and external networks in accordance with the technical infrastructure designs and approved technical standards.
6. Supervising the infrastructure of the electronic network and the communications network in the ministry, developing it and raising its efficiency to keep pace with technological development.
7. Preparing a backup plan and following up on its implementation.
8. Installing and preparing data backup systems and saving original copies for use in the event of any emergency.
9. Supervising and supporting the network and following up on any malfunctions that may occur.
10. Supervising electronic connectivity with various relevant parties, especially devices, communication lines and their settings.
11. Working as a link between the various departments of the administrative unit for the purpose of completing various technical works.
12. Preparing service level models and agreements and following up on their updates.
13. Setting standards for personal devices, their programs and accessories that are consistent with the nature of the work.
14. Conducting periodic maintenance for the devices and accessories of the Ministry's employees and solving problems related to them.
15. Receiving various complaints and inquiries from the Ministry's employees and working to resolve them or submitting them to the relevant departments for follow-up.
16. Measuring customer satisfaction to know the level of services provided and submitting periodic reports on them to take the necessary measures to ensure quality.
17. Preparing office equipment and telephones for employees and monitoring the quality of communication lines in the Ministry and communicating with telecommunications companies to solve problems.
18. Performing other tasks requested to meet ongoing organizational needs.

Essential Education

Bachelor’s degrees in computer sciences/IT related field.

Essential Certifications

Certification and training Programs related to Data Center Facility Operation Management, Cloud Computing, Storage and Backup, etc.

Essential Experience

Based on the HR Law, the grade is determined based on the minimum required experience and qualifications.
