This role provides strategic oversight of the bank's entire AML/CFT framework and serves as the primary regulatory liaison with the Central Bank of UAE, Financial Intelligence Unit, and other authorities.\\*\\*Key Responsibilities:\\*\\** Oversee all AML/CFT functions including customer due diligence, enhanced due diligence, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, correspondent banking controls, and suspicious activity reporting* Advise senior management and the Board on regulatory developments, emerging compliance risks, and remediation strategies* Manage regulatory inspections and maintain relationships with regulators and auditors* Lead the compliance team and overall compliance program, including regulatory change management, investigations, quality assurance, risk assessments, annual compliance planning, training, and Board reporting\\*\\*Requirements:\\*\\** Arabic-fluent speaker, aged 48 or below* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accountancy, Law, or Commerce* Minimum 12 years of senior-level banking compliance and AML/CFT experience in regulated financial institutions* Expert knowledge of CBUAE regulations, UAE AML/CFT requirements, sanctions frameworks, regulatory reporting, and financial crime compliance* Proven regulatory engagement experience and track record managing inspections and remediation* Senior leadership experience managing compliance teams and engaging with regulators, Board members, and senior management* ACAMS certification required; ICA, CFCS, or other compliance qualifications advantageous\\*\\*Compensation & Benefits:\\*\\** Base salary up to AED 40,000 per month (including fixed allowances), based on experience and qualifications* Medical insurance for self and family* Annual airfare allowance for self and family\\*\\*Position Details:\\*\\** Type: Full-time* Location: Dubai, UAE* Open to all nationalities
