About the Role
Terracotta Outsourcing is currently sourcing a Head of Facilities – Metro for a major upcoming Metro / Rail Operations & Maintenance project in Dubai .
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management and delivery of facilities management services across metro facilities, ensuring safe, efficient, compliant and cost-effective operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead overall facilities management and service delivery for metro facilities and associated sites
- Manage facilities KPIs, SLAs and service performance
- Oversee cleaning, pest control, hygiene, waste management and landscaping services
- Manage staff transportation, accommodation, catering and uniforms
- Oversee office, depot and operational facilities
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers and service providers
- Lead procurement, tendering, budgeting and contract management activities
- Support facilities mobilisation and recruitment of facilities teams
- Maintain asset registers and facilities-related contracts
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, HSE requirements, audits and environmental regulations
- Manage client and stakeholder relationships
- Lead, manage and develop multidisciplinary facilities management teams
- Monitor operational performance, costs and service quality
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree, Higher Diploma or relevant professional qualification
- 10–12+ years of relevant facilities management experience
- 5–7 years of experience in multifunctional Facilities Management
- 3–5 years in a management / leadership position
- Strong experience in subcontractor, supplier and contract management
- Strong procurement, tendering and commercial management experience
- Experience managing large multidisciplinary teams
- Strong knowledge of facilities management safety, governance, audits and asset management
- Experience with mobilisation and operational transition is highly desirable
- Rail, Metro or transportation infrastructure experience is highly preferred
- GCC experience is highly desirable
- Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
What We Are Looking For
Candidates should have substantial experience managing multifunctional facilities operations , preferably within rail, metro, transportation or large infrastructure environments . Experience managing multiple service providers, contracts, budgets and multidisciplinary teams is essential.
