Role Description

The Head of Finance is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, responsible for overseeing all financial activities of S'hail Shipping & Maritime Services. This role manages the preparation, review, and consolidation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading budgeting and forecasting processes, monitoring financial performance, and providing analytical insights to support strategic decision-making. The Head of Finance will oversee financial reporting, cash flow management, and internal controls, while coordinating with external auditors, banks, and other stakeholders. This position also involves leading and developing the finance team, optimizing financial systems and processes, and supporting senior leadership with clear financial guidance for long-term planning.

Qualifications Strong foundation in Finance with hands-on experience preparing and managing Financial Statements. Proficiency in Financial Reporting and Budgeting, including forecasting and variance analysis. Advanced Analytical Skills for interpreting complex financial data and supporting strategic decisions. Experience in corporate finance leadership, preferably within shipping, logistics, or capital-intensive industries. Knowledge of international accounting standards and regulatory compliance requirements. Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop finance teams in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is an advantage. Strong proficiency with financial systems, ERP platforms, and advanced Excel skills. Ability to work on-site in Doha and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. #J-18808-Ljbffr
