Head of Project Controls & Services – Offshore Projects Qatar (Office-Based) Direct Hire
We are currently supporting a major international energy operator in the search for a Head of Project Controls & Services to join their leadership team, supporting a portfolio of large-scale offshore projects.
This is a high-impact leadership role, responsible for driving project controls excellence across complex offshore developments, ensuring delivery is achieved on time, within budget, and aligned with project objectives.
The Role:
Cost management & budget control
Planning & scheduling
Contracts & procurement support
Accounts payable & financial tracking
Document control & reporting
Project governance & administrative functions
You will play a key role in ensuring robust project execution across the full lifecycle, from engineering through to commissioning and start-up.
Requirements:
Minimum 18 years’ experience within the Oil & Gas industry
At least 8 years in a senior / leadership Project Controls role
Background with operators, EPC contractors, or engineering consultancies Strong experience across major offshore projects (EPIC lifecycle)
Hands-on experience with:
Primavera P6 / P6 Analytics / Risk Analysis
MS Project & MS Office
SAP
