Head of Video Editors (mfd) DTC E-Commerce

Full-time Dubai-based Reports to CEO & Head of Operations

We are hiring for a fast-growing founder-led DTC ecommerce company focused on building scaling and operating high-growth physical-product brands internationally.

The company specializes in performance-driven ecommerce with a strong focus on acquisition creative retention and operational excellence. The team moves fast values ownership and is building a high-performance team in Dubai while collaborating with remote talent across the world.

The founder has scaled a profitable DTC business to $5M in monthly revenue and is now building the next stage of the company with a strong focus on creative performance systems and long-term team growth.

Tasks

Your Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 45 video editors: brief them review their work set quality standards manage workload give regular feedback and help them improve
• Own the weekly creative testing pipeline across Meta and TikTok including concepts hooks angles formats and iterations
• Develop ad concepts and write clear creative briefs that editors can execute without unnecessary back-and-forth
• Work directly with the media buying team to read performance data and decide what to scale iterate or kill
• Stay close to the craft and cut or adjust ads yourself when needed especially for urgent tests new angles A concepts or revisions
• Track and report on creative performance including hook rate hold rate CTR CPA and ROAS contribution
• Stay on top of what is working across DTC physical products UGC-style ads and short-form performance creative
• Build the systems SOPs and workflows that allow the creative team to scale

Requirements

What We Are Looking For

• 13 years of experience producing directing or strategizing performance video ads for DTC ecommerce brands
• Strong understanding of Facebook Instagram TikTok and ideally Pinterest creative
• Experience managing leading briefing or reviewing video editors even if this was informal leadership
• A proven track record of ads that performed at scale ideally with context around spend CPA ROAS CTR or scale
• Strong hands-on skills in Adobe Premiere After Effects and/or CapCut
• Deep understanding of the Meta and TikTok creative landscape including UGC hooks native formats and current direct-response ad trends
• Commercial instinct: you think in CPA ROAS and conversion rate not just views or engagement
• Structured and self-directed working style: you find the next test you do not wait to be told
• Genuine interest in direct response ecommerce and what actually drives sales
• Fluent clear and strong English communication skills both written and spoken
• Stable career history and interest in building long-term

Bonus points if you have experience with physical-product brands in beauty home lifestyle household products consumer goods or similar categories.
