Health information management expert

Location: Doha, Qatar

We are seeking an experienced Health Information Management Expert (Expert / Lead) to join a large-scale e Health programme.

THE ROLE

Lead system-wide health-information policies, coding, governance, data lifecycle and reporting practices so that health information remains accurate, accessible, secure, interoperable and valuable for policy and operations.

REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management or a related discipline. Minimum of 15 years of experience in healthcare informatics or health information management. Experience with health-information lifecycle processes, governance, standardised coding, exchange protocols and reporting. Strong health-industry knowledge and understanding of relevant laws, regulations and policy controls. Proven data analysis, visualisation or modelling skills, with the ability to translate information into policy or operational insight. KEY SKILLS Health information governance and operating models Clinical and administrative coding practices and terminology governance Data collection, storage, retrieval, access, retention and reporting Health Information Exchange (HIE) and health-system information flows Data analysis, dashboards, population-health and utilisation reporting Policy development, controls, compliance and education Stakeholder engagement across healthcare providers, regulators and technology vendors PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS HIM, CHIMA/AHIMA, health-informatics or data-governance certification Standardised coding, claims, population-health or payer data experience Master data, metadata, data lineage and source-of-truth practices Experience shaping health-information policy at a country-wide or health-system level #J-18808-Ljbffr
