We are seeking an experienced Health Information Management Expert (Expert / Lead) to join a large-scale eHealth programme.
THE ROLE
Lead system-wide health-information policies, coding, governance, data lifecycle and reporting practices so that health information remains accurate, accessible, secure, interoperable and valuable for policy and operations.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in healthcare informatics or health information management.
- Experience with health-information lifecycle processes, governance, standardised coding, exchange protocols and reporting.
- Strong health-industry knowledge and understanding of relevant laws, regulations and policy controls.
- Proven data analysis, visualisation or modelling skills, with the ability to translate information into policy or operational insight.

- Health information governance and operating models
- Clinical and administrative coding practices and terminology governance
- Data collection, storage, retrieval, access, retention and reporting
- Health Information Exchange (HIE) and health-system information flows
- Data analysis, dashboards, population-health and utilisation reporting
- Policy development, controls, compliance and education
- Stakeholder engagement across healthcare providers, regulators and technology vendors
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- HIM, CHIMA/AHIMA, health-informatics or data-governance certification
- Standardised coding, claims, population-health or payer data experienceMaster data, metadata, data lineage and source-of-truth practices
- Experience shaping health-information policy at a country-wide or health-system level
