HR Manager - Generalist

We are looking for an experienced and hands‑on Talent Acquisition Lead HR Manager who will lead recruitment while also managing the overall HR function for the Distribution side of TLM Group.

The role will have two key areas of responsibility: driving end-to-end recruitment across the organization and acting as the HR point of contact for employees and managers within TLM Distribution.

The position requires someone who is equally comfortable with headhunting and closing critical positions as well as managing employee relations, performance discussions, probation reviews, employee engagement and day‑to‑day HR matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Talent Acquisition: Lead end-to-end recruitment for TLM Distribution across Sales, Product Management, Presales, Finance, Marketing, IT, Operations and other corporate support functions Partner with management and department heads to understand manpower requirements, budgets, role expectations and hiring priorities Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle including JD preparation, sourcing, screening, interviews, assessments, offer negotiations, reference checks and joining Actively headhunt candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, competitor mapping, referrals and professional networks Build pipelines for critical, recurring and difficult-to-fill positions Personally manage recruitment for senior, niche and business‑critical positions Conduct structured HR interviews and evaluate candidates on competency, stability, motivation, compensation expectations and organizational fit Maintain strong engagement with selected candidates until their Date of Joining to minimize offer dropouts Track recruitment metrics including vacancy ageing, TAT, source effectiveness, offer acceptance and joining ratios Improve recruitment processes and reduce dependency on external recruitment agencies wherever possible
• HR Management: Act as the primary HR point of contact for employees and managers across the Distribution business Partner with department heads on people‑related matters and provide appropriate HR guidance and support Manage employee relations matters including workplace concerns, grievances, behavioural issues and performance‑related discussions Support managers in handling underperformance, performance improvement plans, disciplinary matters and other sensitive employee situations Ensure employee concerns are addressed professionally, confidentially and within appropriate timelines Support management in maintaining a professional, accountable and performance‑driven work culture
• Performance / Probation Management: Own and track probation reviews to ensure evaluations are completed within defined timelines Coordinate with reporting managers for structured probation feedback, confirmation, extension or other required actions Support the performance management cycle and ensure employees have clearly defined KPIs and expectations Follow up with managers on performance concerns and ensure appropriate documentation and action plans are maintained Support annual performance reviews, employee development discussions and succession talent planning where applicable
• Employee Lifecycle Management: Coordinate smooth onboarding and induction of new employees in collaboration with relevant departments Conduct regular check‑ins with new joiners during their initial employment period Manage employee movements, promotions, transfers, salary revisions and other employee lifecycle changes in coordination with management Conduct exit discussions interviews and identify recurring reasons for attrition Ensure proper handover, clearance and HR documentation during employee separation Work closely with the HR Operations PRO team wherever administrative, visa or system‑related support is required
• Employee Engagement / Culture: Build strong relationships with employees and maintain regular interaction across departments Identify employee engagement concerns and recommend practical initiatives to improve communication, collaboration and retention Support internal communication, employee recognition and engagement initiatives Work closely with management to strengthen accountability, ownership and overall organizational culture
• HR Governance / Reporting: Ensure HR practices within TLM Distribution are aligned with company policies and applicable UAE employment requirements Maintain accurate HR documentation and ensure employee records and HRMS information are updated appropriately Prepare regular recruitment and HR reports for management Track key people metrics including hiring status, probation, attrition, performance concerns and employee movements Identify gaps in existing HR processes and recommend improvements, standardization and automation

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 6-10 years of progressive HR experience, with strong hands‑on experience in Talent Acquisition.
• UAE HR and recruitment experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience working within Distribution, Trading, ICT/Technology, FMCG or other fast‑paced B2B organizations would be advantageous.
• Strong expertise in LinkedIn sourcing, headhunting, Boolean search, job portals and competitor mapping.
• Experience managing employee relations, performance management and probation processes.
• Strong understanding of the complete employee lifecycle.
• Ability to confidently partner with senior management and department heads.
• Strong communication, negotiation and conflict‑resolution skills.
• High level of maturity and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive employee matters.
• Data‑driven, organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Should be a hands‑on HR professional who is comfortable executing independently rather than only managing or delegating.
