HSE Officer

Health Safety Compliance

• o Ensure all company operations comply with UAE safety regulations industrystandards and company policies
• o Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and enforce safety measures
• o Conduct Regular HSE induction training for new and existing employees toimplement HSE policy safety protocols and workplace hazards and must maintainaccurate records
• o Ensure employees and subcontractors adhere to health and safety guidelines

Employee Health Fitness Monitoring

• o Ensure regular employee health checkups are done to make sure they aremedically fit for work as per the client requirement
• o Implement fitness-for-duty programs to assess employees before starting tasks especially for physically demanding or high-risk activities
• o Monitor employees for signs of fatigue dehydration and work-related health risks e g heat stress respiratory issues
• o Ensure proper medical documentation is maintained and updated
• o Enforce workplace policies on drugs and alcohol usage

Equipment Machine Inspection

• o Conduct random inspections of all equipment and machines to ensure they meetsafety standards
• o Maintain records of inspection findings and ensure necessary corrective actions aretaken
• o Ensure employees are properly trained in equipment handling and safetyprocedures

Risk Assessment Incident Prevention

• o Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to minimize workplace hazards
• o Investigate accidents incidents and near-misses providing recommendations toprevent recurrence
• o Maintain records of incidents safety violations and corrective actions taken

Safety Training Awareness

• o Organize HSE training sessions toolbox talks and safety awareness programs foremployees
• o Ensure that all personnel are aware of emergency procedures and evacuationplans
• o Provide guidance on the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment PPE

PPEDocumentation Reporting

• o Maintain accurate HSE documentation including risk assessments safety audits andinspection reports
• o Prepare reports on safety and submit findings to management
• o Keep records of all safety certifications permits and compliance documents

Emergency Preparedness Response

• o Develop and implement emergency response plans including fire safety and firstaid protocols
• o Ensure emergency exits fire extinguishers and first aid kits are properly maintainedand accessible
• o Conduct emergency drills to evaluate response effectiveness and improveprocedures

Maintain a strong safety culture and ensure zero tolerance for unsafe practices.The HSE Officer must coordinate with the Site In-Charge to ensure that uniforms and PPEare available, properly distributed, and comply with safety standards, ensuring a safeworking environment for all employees.Proper dress code is essential as per the company/ site requirementsConduct regular safety audits and proactively address potential hazards.Ensure all safety requirements are met before commencing any project activities.Be available for site visits, emergency response, and compliance monitoring.
