We are looking for an experienced HSE Officer to ensure the safe execution of E&I activities by monitoring site operations, conducting HSE inspections, and ensuring compliance with Qatar Tec HSE requirements. The role will focus on PTW compliance, safety inspections, incident prevention, HSE reporting, and corrective actions.
Roles & Responsibilities Conduct daily Toolbox Talks and site HSE inspections. Monitor E&I activities, PTW compliance, work at height, 5 S, and dropped-object prevention. Identify and report unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and at-risk behaviours. Participate in client walkthroughs, safety meetings, TSF inspections, and contractor forums. Conduct weekly and monthly HSE inspections and follow up on corrective actions. Inspect PPE, tools, fire extinguishers, first-aid boxes, smoke detectors, and vehicles. Maintain HSE checklists, training records, and training matrices. Monitor leading and lagging HSE KPIs and prepare monthly HSE reports. Support incident investigations and implementation of corrective/preventive actions. Ensure compliance with PTW, JSA/JHA, LOTO, work-at-height, and SIMOPS requirements. Mandatory Requirements Diploma/Degree in HSE or Engineering. Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in Oil & Gas, E&I maintenance, or shutdown projects. NEBOSH IGC or equivalent preferred. Strong knowledge of site HSE practices, PTW, JSA/JHA, LOTO, work-at-height, and SIMOPS. Experience conducting safety inspections, Toolbox Talks, incident investigations, and HSE reporting. Immediate / short-notice availability is required.
