HVAC Technician

Job Description

• Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) products and equipment for residential, commercial, and project-based applications.
• Manage customer inquiries throughout the sales process, including product selection, quotation preparation, order processing, and post-sale follow-up.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, provide project and order updates, address concerns, and develop long-term business relationships.
• Assist with project planning by applying a basic understanding of HVAC systems, equipment specifications, design requirements, and installation procedures.
• Collaborate with sales, technical, procurement, warehouse, and other relevant departments to coordinate orders, equipment deliveries, and project execution.
• Follow up on customer concerns and coordinate appropriate solutions to ensure timely resolution and a positive service experience.
• Support sales activities by understanding client requirements, recommending appropriate products, and identifying opportunities to increase business.
• Track assigned sales and project responsibilities, ensuring that relevant documentation and follow-up activities are completed accurately and on time.

Job Details Experience

• A technical qualification or educational background in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or a related technical field.
• Familiarity with HVAC equipment, system applications, and installation requirements; previous hands-on or relevant industry experience is an advantage.
• Good communication, negotiation, and customer service skills, with the ability to understand client needs and recommend suitable solutions.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, for preparing quotations, BOQs, cost estimates, and project documentation.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage sales activities and project-related tasks simultaneously.
• A self-motivated and adaptable approach, with the ability to work independently and cooperate effectively with different teams.
