Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate operations in compliance with hygiene and food safety standards. Advise on proper food handling practices and provide food‑hygiene training for all new hires and trainees. Identify key risk areas in food operations and take pre‑emptive remedial action. Provide technical advice on product labeling to meet government requirements. Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counselling, disciplining, motivating and coaching staff.
Follow all company and safety and security policies, report maintenance needs, accidents and unsafe work conditions to management, complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets. Address guests’ service needs and communicate clearly and professionally. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and support the team in reaching common goals.
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health or Culinary.
Related work experience: 2 to 4 years in a similar role.
Supervisory experience: At least 1 year leading a team.
License or certification: None required.
