Information Security Analyst

We are hiring an experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team in Umm-Salal. As an Information Security Analyst you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our companys information systems and data. Your main duties will include conducting risk assessments implementing security measures monitoring network activity and responding to security incidents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security be knowledgeable about current threats and vulnerabilities and have experience with risk management frameworks

This is a full-time position with a salary of 1100$ per month.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect company data and systems
• Monitor network activity for signs of potential security breaches
• Investigate security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation
• Stay informed about the latest threats and vulnerabilities through research and attending conferencestraining
• Develop policies procedures and guidelines related to information security
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards
• Regularly perform audits of systems networks and applications to ensure they are meeting established security standards

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years experience in information security or related field
• Strong understanding of risk management frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST Cybersecurity Framework
• Knowledge of current cyber threats attack vectors mitigation techniques etc
• Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or Qualys
• Familiarity with network protocols and infrastructure TCPIP firewalls routers
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically under pressure
• Good communication skills both written and verbal for effectively communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional CISSP certification
• Experience working with cloud environments and security best practices for cloud computing
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automating security tasks
• Knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations
