Instrument Technician - Al-Khor, Qatar We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Al-Khor, Qatar. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments used in industrial settings. This includes but is not limited to process control instruments, electrical and electronic equipment, and pneumatic systems.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair instruments such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, and level transmitters
Troubleshoot and diagnose instrument malfunctions
Calibrate instruments according to specifications
Test equipment functionality and make necessary adjustments
Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities
Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to improve instrument performance
Follow all safety protocols while working with electrical systems
Stay updated on new technologies and advancements in the field of instrumentation
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in instrumentation or related field preferred
Proven experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic principles
Familiarity with pneumatic systems and their components
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Attention to detail and ability to work independently
Physically fit to perform tasks such as climbing ladders or lifting heavy equipment
Valid driver's license
Salary: 1600$ per month (tax-free)
Location: Al-Khor, Qatar (free visa provided)
