Instrument Technician vacancy in Ar-Ruwais Qatar Instrument Technician for Oil Refinery in Ar-Ruwais, Egypt
We are hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team at an oil refinery in Ar-Ruwais, Egypt. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various types of instruments and control systems used in the refinery. You must have a strong background in electrical and mechanical principles, as well as knowledge of different types of instruments such as flow meters, pressure gauges, and temperature sensors.
Key Responsibilities
Install new instruments and control systems according to engineering specifications
Troubleshoot and repair faulty instruments and control systems
Perform regular maintenance on instruments to ensure proper functioning
Calibrate instruments to maintain accuracy
Maintain inventory of spare parts and order replacements when necessary
Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure smooth operation of the refinery
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
Knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles
Familiarity with different types of instruments and control systems used in refineries
Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills in English
We offer a competitive salary of $1200 per month, as well as free visa sponsorship and a round-trip ticket from Egypt to Ar-Ruwais. Accommodation is not provided, so candidates must be willing to relocate to Ar-Ruwais.
