Instrument Technician vacancy in Al-Khor Qatar Instrument Technician A reputable oil and gas company in Al-Khor is seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instrumentation and control systems, as well as experience working in the oil and gas industry. Responsibilities Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair various types of instrumentation equipment Calibrate instruments and perform regular maintenance to ensure accuracy and functionality Troubleshoot control systems and make necessary adjustments or repairs Utilize diagnostic tools to identify issues and develop solutions Collaborate with other technicians to complete projects and tasks within designated timelines Keep accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs, reports, and inventory levels Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times while on the job site Communicate effectively with team members, superiors, and clients to provide updates on project progress Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in instrumentation preferred Minimum of 3 years experience as an Instrument Technician in the oil and gas industry Strong knowledge of various types of instrumentation equipment such as pressure gauges, thermometers, transmitters, etc. Experience working with control systems such as PLCs, DCSs, SCADA systems Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and diagrams Proficient in using diagnostic tools for troubleshooting purposes Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team Good communication skills in English; Arabic language skills is a plus Salary: 1000 USD per month (negotiable depending on experience) This is a contract position without accommodation provided.
