A client in Dubai Media City is seeking an experienced IT Cyber Security Specialist to join their team and support the protection of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of cybersecurity practices, security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response. The role involves implementing security controls, supporting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with information security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and protect IT systems, networks, and infrastructure against security threats.
- Identify, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity incidents and potential risks.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity policies, controls, and procedures.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and perform security monitoring activities.
- Ensure compliance with information security standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with IT teams to improve overall security posture.
- Support risk assessments, audits, and incident response activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Cybersecurity or Information Security roles.
- Strong understanding of network security, endpoint protection, firewalls, and threat detection.
- Experience with security monitoring and incident response processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- UAE experience is an advantage.
