Detailed Job Description:
As an IT Project Manager at Nair Systems in Qatar, you will take full ownership of end-to‑end project management lifecycles, project governance, planning, budgeting, risk management, and senior stakeholder reporting. Your day-to‑day responsibilities encompass managing transaction banking and corporate banking systems transformations, executing OBDX digital banking platform deployments, overseeing legacy system migrations and digital cutover planning, and supervising data migration and reconciliation activities. You will lead business analysis and requirement management, manage vendor relationships and stakeholder expectations, and coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production deployment, and post‑go‑live support. Working in a fast‑paced financial technology consulting environment in Qatar, you will drive digital transformation excellence and operational stability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end‑to‑end banking technology transformation projects, large‑scale system implementations, and digital migrations in Qatar.
- Implement robust project governance, strategic planning, budgeting, financial tracking, and risk management frameworks.
- Manage complex transaction banking, corporate banking systems, and OBDX / digital banking platform deployments.
- Oversee legacy system migration, digital cutover planning, data reconciliation, and migration execution strategies.
- Drive business analysis, requirement management, and functional specification alignment across cross‑functional units.
- Coordinate proactively with business stakeholders, technology squads, operations, compliance officers, and third‑party vendor teams.
- Supervise SIT, UAT, production deployment, and comprehensive post‑go‑live support operations.
- Deliver clear, executive‑level status reporting and senior stakeholder briefings on project milestones, budgets, and risk matrices.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, issue resolution logs, change control records, and project schedules.
- Ensure strict adherence to project scope, delivery timelines, banking regulatory frameworks, and business objectives.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 10 to 15 years of professional banking technology project management experience.
- Mandatory PMP (Project Management Professional) certification with demonstrated expertise in project governance and risk management.
- Strong domain knowledge and hands‑on exposure to transaction banking, corporate banking systems, and OBDX / digital banking platforms.
- Proven experience managing legacy system migration, digital migration programs, data migration, reconciliation, and cutover planning.
- Extensive background coordinating SIT, UAT, production deployment, and post‑go‑live support across banking environments.
- Strong vendor management, stakeholder communication, issue resolution, and change control capabilities.
- Professional availability for full‑time employment in Qatar
Nice‑to‑Have Skills:
- Additional professional certifications such as PRINCE2 Practitioner, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or PMI‑ACP.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud‑native banking architectures and modern API integration gateways.
- Prior working experience in tier‑1 retail and corporate banks or major financial technology consulting firms in the GCC region.
- Advanced proficiency in enterprise project management software (Jira, Confluence, MS Project).
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic.
