Job Overview

An immediate hiring opportunity is available for an experienced Java Developer in Qatar. The position is intended exclusively for Qatar locals and requires a minimum of five years of professional experience in Java development, backend engineering, and enterprise application development.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Core Java, Java 8/11, Spring Boot, microservices, Hibernate, REST APIs, and web services. Experience designing secure, scalable backend systems, optimizing database performance, and deploying production-grade services using cloud platforms and modern DevOps technologies is also required.

Knowledge of AI model integration, large language model frameworks, and Python-based backend frameworks will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, develop, and deploy production-grade REST APIs and microservices.
• Design secure and scalable APIs, including HTTP methods, request and response structures, and API security.
• Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Perform database schema design and query optimization.
• Deploy backend services on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Use Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines to support deployment and delivery.
• Collaborate within an Agile software development environment.
• Support the reliability, scalability, security, and maintainability of backend applications.

Required Qualifications and Technical Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Java 8/11 and Core Java.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Hibernate, REST APIs, and web services.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Experience developing secure, scalable backend services.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Must meet the Qatar-local eligibility requirement.
• Must be available for immediate joining.

Preferred Skills

The following skills are advantageous:

• Python backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Integrating AI model inference into backend systems.
• Large language model frameworks, including LangChain or LangGraph.
