Perform welding, fabrication, cutting, grinding, and fitting activities on foundry equipment and structures.
Fabricate and assemble metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Repair and modify foundry machinery, mould boxes, gates, runners, platforms, and supporting structures.
Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and technical schematics accurately.
Measure, mark, align, and fit materials to ensure precision and dimensional accuracy.
Inspect welded joints and fabricated components to maintain quality standards.
Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
Assist in maintenance and improvement projects within the foundry.
Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
ITI/Diploma in Welding, Fabrication, Mechanical Trade, or equivalent.
Minimum 2-5 years of experience as a Welder Fabricator, preferably in a foundry, steel, metal manufacturing, or heavy engineering industry .
Experience in fabrication and repair of industrial equipment and structures is preferred.
Strong technical knowledge of welding and metal fabrication techniques .
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics .
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accurate measurements, alignment, and quality workmanship.
