Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Joinery Foreman to supervise and coordinate joinery works for our interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of carpentry and joinery works, manpower management, drawings, materials, quality control, and project timelines.
- Supervise and manage carpenters, joiners, and other joinery workers.
- Coordinate daily joinery activities at the workshop and/or project site.
- Read and understand joinery shop drawings and technical details.
- Ensure joinery works are executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor workmanship, measurements, finishing, and overall quality.
- Coordinate with Project Engineers, Site Engineers, and other site teams.
- Plan manpower and materials required for daily activities.
- Monitor work progress and ensure deadlines are achieved.
- Identify and resolve site/workshop issues related to joinery works.
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure proper snag rectification.
- Maintain proper use and handling of tools, machinery, and materials.
- Ensure compliance with company safety and quality standards.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Joinery Foreman or Joinery Supervisor.
- UAE/GCC interior fit-out experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry, joinery, and interior finishing works.
- Ability to read and understand shop drawings.
- Good manpower and site coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of joinery materials, hardware, and finishing is an advantage.
