Junior Accountant

We are hiring a Junior Accountant to join our team in Al-Khor. As a Junior Accountant you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and providing support to the senior accounting team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Processing and recording accounts payable and receivable transactions
• Reconciling bank statements and credit card transactions
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions
• Generating invoices and following up on outstanding payments
• Preparing tax returns and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
• Assisting with month-end and year-end close processes
• Performing ad-hoc financial analysis as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software programs
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Salary Starting salary for this position is $1200 per month.

Location This is a full-time position located in Al-Khor.
