Junior Options Trader - Crypto Derivatives

We're partnering with a leading digital assets trading firm looking to hire an experienced Options Trader to help build and scale its cryptocurrency derivatives business.

This is an opportunity to sit on a high-performing trading desk with direct responsibility for pricing, market making and managing risk across crypto options. You'll play a key role in growing the firm's derivatives franchise while working closely with Sales, counterparties and technology teams.

The Role

As an Options Trader, you will be responsible for pricing and managing risk across a range of cryptocurrency derivatives, including both vanilla options and more structured products. You'll actively make markets across OTC and exchange venues, identify trading opportunities and contribute to the ongoing development of the firm's options infrastructure and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Price, trade and make markets in cryptocurrency options across OTC and exchange-traded venues.
• Manage positions across vanilla options and exotic derivative products.
• Monitor and manage portfolio Greeks, implementing effective hedging strategies within defined risk limits.
• Identify and execute volatility, relative value and market structure opportunities.
• Work closely with Sales teams and counterparties to provide competitive pricing and derivative solutions.
• Help develop and improve pricing models, trading tools, risk frameworks and market-making infrastructure.
• Support business development efforts by helping expand client activity and identifying new revenue opportunities.
• Communicate market views, trading ideas and risk considerations to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven experience trading and managing risk in options markets.
• Strong understanding of options pricing, volatility surfaces and derivatives modelling.
• Experience managing Greeks and implementing dynamic hedging strategies.
• Deep knowledge of volatility trading, skew, term structure and relative value strategies.
• Strong risk management mindset with the ability to make decisions in fast-moving markets.
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
• Python experience for trading, pricing or analytical tool development.
• Familiarity with front-office trading and risk management systems.
• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency derivatives and digital asset market structure.
• Ability to operate independently while managing risk within established limits.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Finance or another quantitative discipline.
