Key Account Manager

Goal of function

The Key Account Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar. The candidate for this position will be responsible for finding and retaining clients, encouraging existing clients to purchase additional products or services, and keeping abreast of changes in the local market.

The company imports and distributes premium coffee beans, teas, and coffee machines to hotels, restaurants, specialty coffee shops, as well as retail customers. With strong supplier relationships, exclusive distribution rights, and with an established market presence we are poised for continued expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage day-to-day business operations across multiple divisions (B2B, B2C, and Showroom).
• Oversee sales and marketing strategies to grow market share and profitability.
• Manage key customer and supplier relationships, ensuring service excellence and long-term partnerships.
• Identify and secure new suppliers, business opportunities, and market segments.
• Supervise and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Represent the company in industry events, trade shows, and conferences.

Main tasks

• Contributing to the sales activities and marketing campaigns
• Conduct research and analysing data to identify and define additional potential target markets.
• Conducting market research and analysis to evaluate trends, brand awareness and competition ventures.
• Compiling, distributing, and presenting ideas, information, and strategies.
• Coordinating promotional activities and events
• Updating databases and using a customer relationship management (CRM) system
• Monitoring and staying within the allocated budget for each event/exhibition.
• Leading teams for sales campaigns and delivering targeted revenues.
• Drafting and negotiating contracts with clients and suppliers.
• Creating, analysing, and reporting the results of targeted efforts.

Secondary tasks / Accessories

• Provide information on upcoming trends and sales/product improvements.
• Keeping abreast of the latest market trends and providing knowledge in the form of presentations and internal communications from clients, vendors, and suppliers to be up to date with the latest product offerings of the business.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Mandatory proficiency in spoken and written in English and Arabic languages.
• Minimum bachelor’s degree, preferably with a focus on business administration, marketing and/or sales.
• Minimum of three (5) years of business development and/or marketing experience with exposure of working directly with management in a strategic leadership role.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively with a team and under direct leadership of executive management.
