Kitchen Commis

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Commis to join our culinary team in Swissotel Corniche Park Towers Doha Qatar As a Kitchen Commis you will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen operations and assisting in the preparation of high-quality dishes Assist in food preparation including washing peeling chopping and cutting ingredientsFollow recipes and cooking instructions as directed by senior kitchen staffMaintain a clean and organized work area adhering to food safety and hygiene standardsProperly store and label food items ensuring freshness and qualityAssist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stationsOperate and maintain kitchen equipment and utensilsSupport other kitchen staff as needed during busy periodsParticipate in kitchen inventory and restocking activitiesLearn and adapt to new culinary techniques and recipes

Qualifications

Culinary or hospitality education certification is an advantage Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations Knowledge of food safety hygiene and sanitation standards Good teamwork and communication skills Willingness to learn and develop culinary skills Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment Previous kitchen experience is an advantage
