Qualifications
* Demonstrates experience and strong knowledge of survey techniques and procedures
* Good judgment and organizational skills
* Professional Land Surveyor License a plus not required
* Valid Driver's license
* Ability to stand, climb and walk continuously during an 8-hour period
* Ability to perform strenuous work in a varying climate (heat and cold, etc)
* Must have good computer skills and be able to use survey related software
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Working knowledge of AutoCad Civil 3D

Responsibilities
* Successful candidate will be responsible for selecting and applying standard surveying techniques in the field and office to plan, organize, and execute land surveying projects
* Receive instructions on specific assignments, objectives and complex features
* Performs a variety of in-office and field tasks associated with land surveying projects obtained by the company
* Broad understanding and experience for operating surveying equipment, such as Total Stations, Data Collectors, GPS RTK & Static Observations
* Accurately calculates and records field data
* Reviews job specifications and plans fieldwork methods
* Review and download field data
* Prepare field notes and draw sketches of existing site conditions
* Prepare detailed daily job reports and discuss projects with supervisor on daily basis
* Maintain and troubleshoot complex instrumentation
* Drafting and editing of surveys using AutoCAD Civil 3D
* Perform other like duties as assigned
* Occasional soils testing
