Laser Operator Opportunities in the Chesterfield, Michigan Area!
A precision manufacturing company in Chesterfield, Michigan, is currently seeking several Laser Operators for opportunities with their growing team. These are exciting opportunities for Laser Operators looking to join a company specializing in prototype and low-volume production of precision metal components for the automotive, aerospace, defense, and appliance industries that offers great benefits, stable employment, training and growth opportunities.
Laser Operators hourly rates are anticipated to start between $26 to $30 an hour based on each candidates experience and education - we will consider paying more for the right skills and experience. All well qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. Overtime is paid at premium rates over 40 hours. We offer excellent benefits including great medical, dental, 401k, and more.
Qualified Laser Operators will have most, if not all, of the following skills and experience:
* Experience operating 3-axis and 5-axis laser cutting systems, including 3-axis fiber and CO2 flatbed lasers, to manufacture high-precision components.
* Ability to read blueprints, interpret dimensional tolerances, work with various sheet metals, and inspect parts using precision measuring tools.
* Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and nesting programs is a plus.
* Must be able to work in the United States (no H-1 sponsorship or student visas considered).
* Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks, including background checks and drug screening checks as applicable.
