The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal/Admin Support Specialist to assist our legal team in a variety of administrative tasks. This role involves providing essential support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the legal department. The ideal candidate will possess understanding of legal terminology and procedures, along with excellent administrative skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research using various sources such as legal digests, encyclopedias, practice manuals, and online databases.
- Organize and maintain legal files and documentation.
- Support the legal team in preparing case summaries, reports, and presentations.
- Field and route basic inquiries from internal clients and external parties.
- Provide basic technical advice on how to implement new procedures and best practices to support compliance.
- Review and edit legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Draft legal documents of routine to intermediate complexity, including correspondence, pleadings, and motions.
- Compile and analyze data to support legal decision-making and case preparation.
- Maintain professional and timely communication with stakeholders.
- Manage litigation matters across Gulf jurisdictions and ensure compliance with local procedural rules, court deadlines, and regulatory requirements across all Gulf jurisdictions in which litigation is conducted, maintaining accurate case management records and calendars.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders on litigation matters affecting the business, ensuring cross-functional alignment and timely information sharing.
- Monitor litigation budgets, fee arrangements, and billing practices of retained law firms to ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to approved budgetary guidelines.
- Actively learn, develop proficiency in, and integrate AI-powered tools and technologies into daily legal workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- A proactive and hardworking attitude with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Previous experience in sales support or a similar role is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Bilingual English and Arabic, spoken and written.

Preferred Qualifications

- Familiarity with, or willingness to develop proficiency in, AI-driven legal technology platforms and tools (e.g., contract review systems, legal research databases with AI capabilities, and document automation software).
