Job Description / Role:
The Legal Director (Corporate) will be responsible for providing legal support to the business on all corporate and commercial legal matters. This role reports directly to the Head of Legal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal support and strategic advice to the business across corporate and commercial matters, including advising senior management on key and legacy matters.
- Lead the drafting, review and negotiation of corporate and commercial agreements on a day-to-day basis, including MOUs, transactional documents and business contracts.
- Manage and oversee the business intellectual property portfolio.
- Identify, assess and mitigate legal risks, ensuring material risks are appropriately addressed and escalated to the business and Head of Legal.
- Advise the business on corporate structures, governance and other corporate activities.
- Manage and coordinate with external counsel and counter-parties where required, specifically for any international projects.
Experience Required:
10 years of post-qualification experience
Education Qualifications:
Qualified as a Solicitor in England & Wales and/or other relevant jurisdiction.
Skills Required:
- Thorough knowledge of corporate laws and practices in Dubai.
