Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a legal secretary located in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The legal secretary will be responsible for a variety of clerical and administrative tasks. This role includes preparing legal documents, managing diaries, assisting legal assistants, and other necessary clerical duties to support our legal team. The Legal Secretary will work closely with our lawyers and clients to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Role Description

• Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to lawyers.
• Draft, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence.
• Coordinate schedules, appointments, and court dates.
• Maintain organized and confidential legal files and records.
• Serve as a liaison between clients, courts, and internal staff.
• Assist with the filing and archiving of legal documents, both digitally and in hard copy, in accordance with firm protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience of at least 1 years working as a legal secretary with a UAE-based law firm.
• Basic understanding of UAE legal terminology, procedures, and court systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
• Bachelors in Law (LLB) from English Sections is mandatory.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic.
