Librarian job in Abu-Dhabi UAE for foreigners

Job Title: Librarian
Location: Abu-Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Salary: 1000 AED per month (Negotiable)
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Librarian to join our team in Abu-Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate should have an excellent knowledge of library information systems, cataloguing systems and library procedures. We are willing to consider an immigrant applicant for this position.
Responsibilities:
• Assist patrons with locating materials in the library;
• Maintain current and accurate records of library materials;
• Process new acquisitions and prepare them for circulation;
• Monitor use of library materials and enforce lending policies;
• Assist patrons with the use of computers, technology and other resources in the library;
• Ensure that library policies are adhered to;
• Develop, promote and conduct educational programs for patrons;
• Develop new collections as necessary;
• Create catalogs for new items added to the collection;
• Perform general administrative duties such as filing, bookkeeping and organizing documents.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field ;
• Previous experience working as a librarian is preferred ;
• Knowledge of modern cataloguing systems ;
• Proficiency in computer software such as Microsoft Office ;
• Excellent organizational skills ;
• Excellent communication skills ;
