Lanco Group is seeking a Lifting Supervisor for a 3-month contract (extendable) based in Doha, Qatar. The role requires an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct rigging crews during lifting and crane erection operations.
Experience Required:
- Minimum 8 years experience in rigging and lifting operations on heavy industrial or power plant projects.
- Experience in crane erection and heavy equipment lifting at power plant facilities.
Education Qualifications:
- LEEA / TUV / Bureau Veritas Lifting/Rigging Supervisor Third Party Certificate — mandatory (minimum 5-day training certificate only will be considered).
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of lift plans, load calculations, and risk assessments for critical and complex lifts.
- Proficient in inspection of lifting gear — slings, shackles, hooks, and rigging accessories.
- Familiar with permit-to-work (PTW) systems on industrial sites.
- Compliance with LEEA / LOLER standards.
