We're looking for a Lighting Designer with strong procurement expertise to join our team. You'll bridge technical design and commercial sourcing: selecting the right luminaires from leading international brands, making sure they meet project specifications, and securing them at competitive prices.
What You'll Do
- Source architectural and decorative lighting products from international manufacturers and suppliers
- Obtain and evaluate quotations, prepare technical and commercial comparison sheets, and negotiate competitive pricing
- Review lighting specifications, technical datasheets, and material submittals for compliance with project requirements
- Recommend luminaires that balance technical performance, quality, aesthetics, and cost
- Perform lighting calculations and assess illumination levels against applicable lighting standards
- Collaborate with project, engineering, and estimation teams to ensure technical compliance and on-time procurement
- Track purchase orders, material availability, and delivery schedules through to completion
What You Bring
Must-have
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architecture
- Solid knowledge of leading international architectural and decorative lighting brands, manufacturers, and product ranges
- Strong technical understanding of lighting calculations, illumination requirements, lighting control systems, and lighting standards
- Ability to interpret lighting specifications, product datasheets, and technical submittals
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and supplier management skills
- A technically sharp, commercially minded professional who can identify the right lighting solution and deliver it cost-effectively, without compromising project quality or technical compliance.
