Operate and monitor field equipment and processes within the Lime Calcining Plant , ensuring smooth and efficient plant operations.
Conduct routine inspections of plant equipment, including conveyors, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and roller-type briquetting machines .
Monitor plant operating parameters through DCS/control systems and identify process deviations or equipment abnormalities.
Perform periodic visual checks of raw materials, finished product quality, and product storage areas .
Respond promptly to plant equipment problems and process abnormalities using effective troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques .
Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures , including performing overtime, standby, and call-out duties when required.
Requirements
Technical Diploma or Higher Secondary Education from a recognized institution.
Minimum 3 years of relevant industrial experience ; experience in a manufacturing or steel plant environment is preferred .
Practical operating knowledge of conveyors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and roller-type briquetting machines .
Good understanding of plant equipment, process specifications, operating parameters, and process control .
Experience with modern DCS/control systems and exposure to applications such as WinCC, Experion, or similar systems ; basic computer skills are required.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills , with the ability to work under pressure and in environments involving dust, heat, heights, and gases . Must be safety-conscious, proactive, hardworking, and able to communicate in English and spoken Hindi .
