Litigation Associate

Innovative Driven is currently seeking an Associate Litigation Attorney to join the dynamic team at one of our most well-regarded boutique law firm clients!

This is an incredible opportunity to join a firm where you have the opportunity to handle complex substantive matters in a supportive and sophisticated environment. The firm is based in Summit, New Jersey and it serves sophisticated corporate and clients, nationwide.

There is no billable hour requirement for Litigation Associates. It is a hybrid position, with three days onsite in Summit, and two days remote, each week.

Responsibilities

• Counsel businesses and individuals through a broad range of commercial and employment-related disputes in state and federal courts, as well as arbitration and administrative proceedings.
• Represent clients in complex shareholder, member, and partnership disputes.
• Navigate litigation arising from data breaches, privacy concerns, and other technology-related claims.
• Manage all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery materials, and briefs; conducting depositions; arguing motions; and supporting mediations, hearings, and trials.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships by serving as a trusted advisor and contributing to case strategy and execution.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of litigation experience, ideally with exposure to commercial, employment, or complex business disputes.
• Licensed to practice law in New Jersey; New York admission is a plus.
• Exceptional legal writing, analytical, research, and oral advocacy abilities.
• Demonstrated experience handling discovery, motion practice, and client communications.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
