Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Onsite full-time for the first 30 days, transitioning to a hybrid schedule after.

About The Company:
A well-established law firm with a strong reputation and deep roots in the local community is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal. This mid-sized firm handles sophisticated, high-stakes matters while maintaining a close-knit, team-oriented culture where employees have real visibility across the organization.
Job Description:
The firm is looking for a skilled Litigation Paralegal to support a busy team of attorneys handling complex civil and commercial litigation. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who anticipates case needs, manages deadlines proactively, and thrives working as part of a broader team rather than in a single-attorney support role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents in both state and federal court
- Track case deadlines and maintain docketing systems
- Prepare Tables of Contents and Tables of Authorities; perform cite-checking and Bluebooking
- Manage discovery processes and organize case documentation
- Liaise with process servers, court reporters, and other outside litigation vendors
- Prepare exhibits for depositions and trial proceedings
- Provide hands-on trial preparation and support across multiple active matters
- Maintain and organize physical and electronic case files
- Review medical records and assist with medical chronologies as needed
- Coordinate logistics for site visits and related travel when required
- Provide broader case support to attorneys as matters develop
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of substantive litigation paralegal experience, ideally at a mid-sized or larger law firm
- Background in commercial, general civil, or complex litigation (public lands, environmental, energy, regulatory/enforcement matters a plus); candidates from a personal injury or insurance defense background are not a fit for this role
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred
- Experience with eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity or iPro is a plus, though not required given the firm's dedicated eDiscovery support
- Familiarity with Colorado court rules preferred; experience in both state and federal court a plus
- Strong sense of ownership and initiative — comfortable identifying next steps without waiting for direction
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team supporting multiple attorneys
Additional Details:
Candidates should be prepared to speak to their career history, including any shorter tenures, as the firm values long-term stability and fit. This role supports a high-volume litigation practice with several matters heading to trial, offering strong exposure to the full litigation lifecycle.
Perks:
- Competitive compensation with overtime eligibility
- Hybrid work schedule after initial onboarding period
- Exposure to sophisticated commercial litigation and trial work
- Access to modern legal technology, including AI-assisted tools
- Collaborative, team-oriented culture at a firm with strong community ties
