Litigation Paralegal - Contract-to-Hire - New York, NY - HYBRID
A highly regarded law firm in the Rockefeller Center area is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join its growing litigation team on a contract-to-hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation professional looking to gain long-term stability with a respected firm while working on sophisticated commercial litigation matters. The firm offers a collaborative environment, hybrid flexibility, and the potential to convert to a permanent position.
Responsibilities:
- Support attorneys throughout all phases of commercial litigation
- Assist with deposition preparation, exhibits, and discovery management
- Perform cite-checking, proofreading, and quality control of legal filings
- Prepare and organize pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and case files
- Coordinate hearings, depositions, and litigation deadlines
- Assist with trial preparation, exhibit management, and witness coordination
- File documents with state and federal courts and maintain organized case records
Requirements:
- 2+ years of litigation paralegal experience
- Experience supporting commercial litigation matters
- Deposition preparation experience required
- Cite-checking experience required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Trial experience is a plus
- 5+ years of litigation experience preferred

- Location: Rockefeller Center, New York, NY
- Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in office / 2 days remote)
- Hours: 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM with some flexibility
- Compensation: Competitive hourly salary
