A dynamic organization in Dubai is looking to add a Logistics Coordinator to its operations team to help coordinate the movement of goods, deliveries, shipments, and daily logistics activities. The role requires strong organization and communication skills, with regular coordination between suppliers, warehouse teams, drivers, customers, and internal departments. Freshers can apply, while candidates with relevant logistics experience are also welcome.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily logistics, transportation, and delivery activities.
- Track incoming and outgoing shipments and maintain updated delivery information.
- Coordinate with suppliers, customers, drivers, warehouses, and internal departments.
- Prepare and maintain delivery notes, shipping documents, invoices, and logistics records.
- Follow up on delivery schedules and ensure shipments reach their destinations on time.
- Assist with planning delivery routes and coordinating transportation requirements.
- Monitor shipment status and communicate delays or changes to the relevant teams.
- Maintain accurate records of orders, shipments, deliveries, and inventory movements.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams regarding loading, unloading, and dispatch activities.
- Assist with resolving routine delivery, shipment, and documentation issues.
- Update logistics systems, spreadsheets, and tracking records as required.
- Ensure documents are properly organized and available for reference.
- Prepare basic logistics reports and operational updates for supervisors.
- Follow company procedures and applicable safety requirements.
- Perform other logistics and coordination duties assigned by management.
