Management Accountant / FP&A Executive

Eximius Next is looking for a mid-level Management Accountant / FP&A professional to join our finance team in Gurugram.

The immediate focus of this role will be to manage and supervise SME finance operations .

As the person develops, the role will expand into selected Management Accounting responsibilities and, over time, into the development of a stronger FP&A function at Eximius Next .

What will you do?

SME Finance Operations

• Supervise day-to-day accounting and finance work.
• Review accounting, reconciliations and month-end work.
• Ensure quality and timely completion of client deliverables.
• Guide team members and resolve day-to-day finance issues.
• Monitor pending items and ensure proper closure.

Management Accounting

• Gradually take responsibility for selected MA activities.
• Prepare and review management accounts and financial reports.
• Perform budget vs actual and variance analysis.
• Analyse revenue, costs, margins and other key financial information.
• Support forecasting and cash-flow reporting.

FP&A Development

• Develop practical FP&A skills through live client assignments.
• Improve management reporting and financial analysis.
• Help develop forecasting, budgeting and scenario-analysis capabilities.
  

Who are we looking for?

• 4–5 years of experience in Management Accounting, FP&A, accounting or a similar finance role.
• Strong accounting fundamentals.
• Good understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow.
• Experience with month-end closing and reconciliations.
• Good Excel skills.
• Exposure to management reporting, budgeting and variance analysis.
• Ability to review work and guide junior team members.
• Good communication and professional client-handling skills.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop into FP&A.

We are looking for someone who is hands-on, practical, mature, responsible and analytical —someone who is comfortable supervising a small team and communicating with clients, but who also wants to build a long-term career in FP&A and management accounting .

This is an opportunity for someone with a strong finance foundation who wants to move beyond routine accounting and gradually build expertise in FP&A and management decision support .
