The Opportunity
Etihad Airways is continuing an ambitious period of international growth, expanding our network, commercial reach, and global workforce.
We're looking for an experienced Manager Recruitment to join our Talent Acquisition team and lead recruitment across a portfolio of revenue & commercial functions. This is a highly visible role partnering with senior leaders to identify, attract, and secure talent across multiple international markets.
You'll operate in a fast-moving, complex environment where hiring requirements can span countries, functions, and levels of seniority. While experience recruiting within aviation would be valuable, it isn't essential. We're particularly interested in recruiters who have developed their careers within large, international organizations and complex matrix structures , and who understand what it takes to recruit globally.
The role is hands-on. You'll own searches yourself, build international talent pipelines, advise leaders on the external market, and increasingly use AI-enabled sourcing and recruitment technology to identify talent that traditional sourcing approaches may not reach.
For someone who enjoys challenging searches, international recruitment, senior stakeholder engagement, and experimenting with new ways of finding talent, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact as Etihad continues to grow.
What you'll do
- Lead end-to-end recruitment across a portfolio of commercial roles, from workforce planning and search strategy through assessment, offer, and onboarding.
- Partner with senior business leaders and HR Business Partners, acting as a trusted advisor on talent availability, market dynamics, sourcing strategy, and hiring decisions.
- Develop and execute international sourcing strategies , identifying talent across multiple geographic markets and industries.
- Build proactive pipelines for critical and recurring talent requirements rather than relying solely on active applicants.
- Use AI-enabled sourcing platforms, recruitment technology, talent intelligence, and traditional sourcing channels to identify and engage high-quality passive talent.
- Recruit across a range of commercial disciplines, with experience hiring sales and commercially focused talent particularly valuable.
- Navigate a complex, matrixed organization, balancing the requirements of multiple stakeholders while maintaining pace and quality.
- Bring external market intelligence to hiring conversations, helping leaders understand talent availability, competitor activity, and alternative talent pools.
- Ensure candidates are assessed consistently and objectively using Etihad's recruitment and assessment methodologies.
- Champion an engaging, transparent candidate experience and represent Etihad effectively in international talent markets.
